Running a Bed and Breakfast guest house in Maidstone has many challenges;
The main aim is to achieve a pleasant relaxing place for our many travellers to stay.
This is not something that just happens; you need to put work into creating the type of environment you hope your guests will enjoy. When you receive positive feedback from guests, that is when you really know just how well your efforts are appreciated.

I stayed at Catnap Corner for the third time – I’ll always go back because the rooms are perfectly clean, well decorated and well planned, everything you need is there. The breakfast is just right, perfectly poached eggs and good coffee. Sandy and Tony are chatty and helpful, and it’s a really good base when I go back to my… More

Although we only spent one night in the twin-bedded room, we would have no hesitation in recommending Sandy and Tony’s B & B as it was just what we wanted and the hospitality and friendliness was superb. Our hosts even went as far as offering to assist our daughter, who’s staying in Maidstone, to contact them if she was ever… More

“Wonderful experience at this English B & B…”

My cousin and I traveled to England in mid-September of 2011 to do genealogical research at the Kent Archives in Maidstone. We spent 3 nights at the Catnap B & B and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We occupied both rooms offered: a single & twin double. Both rooms were quiet, nicely furnished, equipped with a TV, nightstand and comfortable bed(s)…. More

I’ve been trying to find an excuse to go back to Catnap Corner after staying there for a few nights on business at the start of the Summer. It’s a perfect distance from town to let you have a short wander back followed by a good night’s sleep and the hosts were extremely welcoming. More

The moment we spoke to Sandy on the phone to advise what time we would be arriving we knew we’d have a good time. If you want a typical English B & B experience then stay at Catnap – it’s quiet, clean and comfortable and almost like home from home as everything we required was there. Sandy and Tony are… More

We stayed in this beautiful B&B for 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. The house is beautiful, clean and decorated with lots of love. The hosts are very warm, friendly and lovely people so that we felt at home immediately. It is also close to the town centre and has moderate prices. I will definitely come back! More

I stayed here for three nights while doing research in the Kent County archives in January 2008, paying GBP25 a night and expecting just adequate accommodations. What I found was an immaculate house in a nice neighborhood run by Tony, a very friendly and interesting proprietor (his wife Sandy was away visiting family when I stayed there). My bed was… More
